At the present time in  the waters off of Taiji innocent dolphins are being murdered by some Japanese! This awful situation is repeated year-in-and year-out by people who see dolphins as competitors! These Japanese murderers kill these dolphins because they think dolphins do not have the right to have the same access to food that these Japanese do! This is so selfish of these Japanese murders! "The town continues to hunt small whales, such as melon-headed and pilot whales, as well as dolphins; commercial activities which are not regulated by the IWC (The International Whaling Commission). What these murderers are doing is against the law and against the morals and values of our World!  Acquarium owners actually gain access to the dolphins and whales in Taijii using the most brutual forms of transportation imagineable! Imagine being forced to live in a truck without adequate water, and food, well this is what these Japanese are doing each and every year illegally!

"The Japanese fishermen are indiscriminate. They kill any species that approaches the coast. Sea Shepherd crew have witnessed the killing of:
  • Striped dolphins
  • Bottlenose dolphins
  • Pilot whales*
  • False killer whales
  • Melon-headed whales
Striped dolphin Bottlenose dolphin Pilot whale False killer whale Melon-headed whale
This is not a complete list. They kill any species that approaches the coast including those listed above and Risso dolphins."

Dolphins have been found to be extremely intelligent! New scientific research has lead scientists to indicate that humans should be treating our dolphin friends as "non-human persons" (please read the article at the following link:http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/science/article6973994.ece ) As stated in the article: "The researchers argue that their work shows it is morally unacceptable to keep such intelligent animals in amusement parks or to kill them for food or by accident when fishing. Some 300,000 whales, dolphins and porpoises die in this way each year." Dolphins are extremely social in their behavior! They live in family groups just like we humans do and they communicate in a highly sophisticated manner just as we humans do. And yet at the present time the Government of Japan, and for that matter no Government on this planet is willing to do anything to stop the slaughter of our dolphin friends!

We have to stop this slaughter of dolphins in Taijii waters and in all of our World! What can you do to save dolphins from being murdered in Taijii right now?  Firstly you can make a pledge right now to stop visiting zoos and acquariums! As stated at: http://savejapandolphins.org/take-action/help-spread-the-word  "Some members of the dolphin display industry support the slaughter by rewarding whalers with cash for live show dolphins.  Others support the slaughter by simply ignoring it.Most of the approximately 500 dolphins currently held in Japan's 50 dolphinariums were captured during a violent and deadly dolphin drive hunt. Many of these Japanese dolphinariums are members of the Japanese Association of Zoos and Aquariums, also known as JAZA. Despite the fact that JAZA members keep the brutal dolphin hunt alive by doing business with the dolphin killers, WAZA welcomes JAZA as an association member!"

Please sign the petitions at the savejapandolphins.org website! Signing them may make a big difference in the lives of dolphins on this planet!
You can also make a difference to the dolphins by calling Japanese embassies using the following list. Please be polite when you call. however also tell the Japanese that the Japanese Government needs to intervene and stop this illegal hunting of dolphins and whales in their waters! My friend you are the voice of our Dolphin and Whale friends, their only voice and they need you to speak out for them and tell the officials in these embassies that we are not going to tolerate the murder of our dolphin and whale friends any longer! Tell them that you are not going to buy goods and services from Japan unless the Japanese Goverment intervenes and stops this murder of our cetacean friends once and for all!

If you want proof of just how bad the killing  gets in Taijii waters, then take a look at this photo, a photo which was taken in 2009: Yes that red color in the water is blood! The blood of innocent dolphins and whales, which were murdered by these Japanese!

Doesn't this photo outrage you? Well you are not alone. Please take the time to watch this video, in this video you may see some people you are familar with! All of them share the same desire, to save our dolphin and  cetacean friends, and to act as their voice in the face of  this terrible injustice, murder and unlawful actions against them! Thank you on behalf of  the dolphins, whales and other cetaceans on this planet for reading this message. Please act to help our friends!

Thoughts worth thinking about

"Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives."-Sidney Madwed

Laws alone can not secure freedom of expression; in order that every woman and man present their views without penalty, there must be spirit of tolerance in the entire population.- Albert Einstein Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. - Leo Buscaglia

A person's true wealth is the good he or she does in the world. - Mohammed

Our task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty. -Albert Einstein

The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others. - Ghandi

The unselfish effort to bring cheer to others will be the beginning of a happier life for ourselves. - Helen Keller

Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make yourself a happier and more productive person. - Dr. David M. Burns

Life is as dear to a mute creature as it is to man. Just as one wants happiness and fears pain, just as one wants to live and not die, so do other creatures. -His Holiness The Dalai Lama

Mankind's true moral test, its fundamental test (which lies deeply buried from view), consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals. And in this respect mankind has suffered a fundamental debacle, a debacle so fundamental that all others stem from it. -

Milan Kundera, The Unbearable Lightness of Being

The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them. That's the essence of inhumanity. -George Bernard Shaw

Ego's trick is to make us lose sight of our interdependence. That kind of ego-thought gives us a perfect justification to look out only for ourselves. But that is far from the truth. In reality we all depend on each other and we have to help each other. The husband has to help his wife, the wife has to help the husband, the mother has to help her children, and the children are supposed to help the parents too, whether they want to or not.-Gehlek Rinpoche Source: "The Best Buddhist Writing 2005 pg. 165

The hostile attitude of conquering nature ignores the basic interdependence of all things and events---that the world beyond the skin is actually an extension of our own bodies---and will end in destroying the very environment from which we emerge and upon which our whole life depends.
