Image:Ice Island calves off Petermann Glacier
According to the CBC news service a massive iceberg ( 251-square-kilometres (97 square miles)
in size) has broken off the Petermann Glacier which is found on Greenland. Scientists are
attributing this circumstance to the phenomenon of the warming of the World's oceans.
"Researchers with the University of Delaware say it is the largest (iceberg) to form in the Arctic since 1962."
