When Anand has the white pieces in  game two, these are statistics of which openings he choses to play to begin a game: He has played the opening move of 1.e4 in 1150 of the 1406 games in his chess career in which he has had the white pieces (His performance elo for this move is 2769). He has played the opening move 1.d4 in 157 games in his chess career (with a performance elo in these games on 2718). His third most frequently played opening move with white has been the move 1.Nf3 (71 games, performance elo of 2728). He has also played the move 1.c4 to begin a game on 25 occasions in his career with him scoring a performance elo of 2489).

What are GM Topalov's responses when he has the black pieces?
Topalov has had the black pieces in 892 games in his chess career.
When an opponent plays the opening move of 1.e4  (which has occurred a total of 404 times in Topalov's chess career), GM Topalov has favored playing: the response 1...c5 (The Sicilian Defense in 404 games. His performance rating with the Sicilian Defense is 2680). His second chose of move against  1.e4 is to play the response 1..e5 (85 games, performance elo of 2647). He has played the French Defense 34 times against and opponent who has begun the game by playing 1.e4 and in these games he has a performance elo of 2511). His fourth most frequently used defense against 1.e4 is the Caro-Kann Defense (19 games, performance elo of 2750). He has also played the response 1...d6 when an opponent has begun the game with the move 1.e4 (a total of 7 games, with a performance elo of 2570). And he has played the opening move of 1...Nf6 against 1.e4 in one game.

When an opponent of  Topalov begins the game with the move 1.d4, Topalov has favored by a wide margin, the move 1...Nf6 to begin the game. His performance rating is 2686 in these ga mes. His second main response to an opening move of 1.d4 is to play 1...d5 (36 games, performance elo of 2672), and his third main reaction to an opening move of 1.d4 is to play 1...f5 (19 games, performance elo of 2454). Topalov has played the opening move of 1...e6 as a response to 1.d4 in 17 games with a performance elo of 2656. He has also played 1...g6 in response to 1.d4 (6 games, performance elo of 2595), and he has played 1...d6 in response to an opening of 1.d4 in 6 games (performance elo of 2473).
